NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION OF THAILAND RESOLUTIONS ON ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECT AT THE 32ND MEETING OF B.E. 2564 [2021]

        On 18 August, B.E. 2564 [2021], the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand (NHRCT) held its 32nd meeting B.E. 2564 [2021] on administrative aspect with the following key resolutions:
        1. Consider draft reports on the NHRCT meetings with the civil society organizations and the plan for regional visits. The NHRCT also plans to meet and discuss issues of concerns with all segments including social networks, civil society organizations and government agencies;
        2. Acknowledge the past memorandum of understanding with the Lawyers Council and agree to renew the MOU with the Council. In so doing, the NHRCT views that a roadmap for collaboration should be discussed. Besides, the meeting discussed the existing MoU with other organizations and discussed how to benefit the cooperation;
        3. Approve the amended list of competent officials for appointment, who will undertake fact finding and investigate cases of complaints on human rights violation;
        4. Approve the budget allocation for the project on organizational restructure.
