RESOLUTIONS OF THE FOURTH NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION OF THAILAND ON PROTECTION AND STANDARDS OF HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION AT THE 35TH MEETING OF B.E. 2564 [2021]

            On 10 August, B.E. 2564 [2021], the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand (NHRCT) held its 35th meeting of B.E. 2564 [2021] as regards the protection and standards of human rights protection with the following agendas.
            1. Consideration of the following five complaints
                - Right to person’s integrity in the claim that the screening of coronavirus disease 2019 is human research not conducted per medical ethics standards
                - Right and liberty of person’s integrity in connection with unfair treatment toward individuals in the claim that government officials treated the petitioner inappropriately during the quarantine per measures against the coronavirus disease 2019
                - Right to property in the claim that the petitioner was troubled by unfair revocation of his entitlement to benefit from land reform
                - Right and liberty of person’s integrity pertaining to human dignity in the claim that he was suspected and searched for drugs by police officers
                - Right in the administration of justice in the claim of delayed investigation by authorities
            2. Consideration of two complaints in continuation from the previous meeting
                - Children's right and the right to person’s integrity in the claim that an action of a school was not in compliance with the Rule of the Ministry of Education on the Wearing of Hairstyles of Students B.E. 2563 [2020]
                - Children's rights in the claim that a teacher disciplined students without compliance with the Rule of the Ministry of Education on Penalization of Pupils and Students B.E. 2548 [2005]
            3. Consideration of two complaints admissible for further investigation
            4. Consideration of three complaints admissible for coordination of human rights protection
            5. Agreed extension of the due dates of two petitions
            6. Consideration of two complaints being forwarded to other independent entities to manage per their duties and powers
            7. Consideration of the report on monitoring the compliances with the NHRCT’s recommendations concerning workers on contracts for services in government agencies are not given fair treatment
            8. Approval of the investigation of the case raised by the NHRCT concerning the political demonstration by appointing a working group to examine the case
