On 6 July 2021, Ms. Sayamol Kaiyoorawong, National Human Rights Commissioner in her capacity as the Chair of the Steering Committee of the Regional Human Rights Education and Coordination Center at Khon Kaen University, together with Assistant Professor Suchart Setthamalinee, National Human Rights Commissioner, Ms. Rataya Kobsirikarn, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRCT) attended the virtual meeting of the Steering Committee of the Regional Human Rights Education and Coordination Center at Khon Kaen University.
 
       The meeting acknowledged activities of the Center between July and August 2021, including the operation under the COVID-19 pandemic situation.The meeting also resolved to approve work plan of the  Center, consisting of 2 activities, namely 1) collection of information on human rights situation in the northeastern region and 2) production of media campaigns on human rights.
