RESOLUTIONS OF THE NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION OF THAILAND (NHRCT) ON ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECT AT THE 26TH MEETING OF B.E.2564 [2021]

          On June 30, B.E. 2564 [2021], the NHRCT held the 26th meeting of B.E. 2564 [2021] on the administrative aspect. The meeting has passed the following key resolutions.
​          1. Consideration of the draft Regulation of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand on Hiring and Appointment of Individuals as Advisors to the NHRCT, and Secretary and Assistant Secretary to the Chairperson and Commissioners B.E. .... […].
​          2. Consideration of the draft Regulation of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand on Criteria and Procedures for Registering Qualified Persons (No. ..) B.E. ... […].
​          3. Consideration of the draft Regulation of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand on Expenditure Related to Work Travels (No. ..) B.E. .... […].
​          4. Agree to appoint six qualified persons, divided into four areas: two persons in the right to ethnic and traditional groups, one in the right to land and forest resource management, two in community and resource-based rights, and one in legal affairs.
​          5. Agree to co-host the second mixed learning workshop on human rights, environment and climate change organized by Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI), an institution responsible for human rights research, scheduled to take place during October 26 - 27, B.E. 2564 [2021] in Bangkok.
​          6. Acknowledgement of the outcomes of the virtual meeting for senior executive officers (SEOs) organized by the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF) on June 22, B.E. 2564 [2021].
