The Office of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand hereby declares that the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand has vacated from the duties due to the age of seventy years on 14 September 2020.
          The remaining commissioners of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand in the meeting on 15 September 2020 then resolved to appoint Mrs. Prakairatana Thontiravong to perform as the Acting Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand in accordance with Section 20 of the Organic Act on the National Human Rights Commission, B.E. 2560 (2017).
          The announcement of the Office of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand dated on 15 September B.E. 2563 (2020) on the Acting Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand was published in the Royal Thai Government Gazette, Volume 137, Part 234 (special), page 34, dated on 6 October B.E. 2563 (2020).
